Montana's Poverty Report Card
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services partnered with Montana State University Extension has provided a detailed examination of poverty at the State, County, and Reservation levels in Montana.
The poverty indicators used in this project are a subset of the standard ones used for the United States in evaluating the extent of poverty, assessing needs, and measuring services and benefits targeted at low-income populations.
