  • The Montana Dietetic Internship, or MDI, prepares future dietitians to lead the implementation of sustainable food practices in all areas related to the diet and its effects on health. Montana Dietetic Internship provides students a supervised dietetic practice experience.

 Learn to be a key part of building healthier, stronger communities at the College of Education, Health and Human Development.

In the MSU College of Education, Health and Human Development, we learn by doing to transform lives and communities. The college offers a wide variety of programs in health care, preventative health fields and teaching. Students graduating from the College of Education, Health and Human Development, go on to become medical doctors, physical therapists, counselors, teachers, dietitians, agriculture advocates, food product developers, hotel or restaurant managers, and more.

The Department of Education offers programs for future educators, leaders, researchers and policymakers, from pre-K through post-secondary education.

The Department of Counseling, Department of Human Development & Community Health, and Department of Food Systems, Nutrition & Kinesiology offer programs in exercise science, community health, family & consumer sciences, early childhood education, health enhancement, sustainable food systems, hospitality management, and the only accredited program of study for aspiring registered dietitians in Montana.
