Health Enhancement K-12 – B.S. in Health Enhancement (Health & Physical Education) K-12
Health Enhancement K-12 at Montana State offers a comprehensive approach to combining the areas of health education and physical education. Health Enhancement majors will learn how to teach children the knowledge and skills needed to move with confidence and competence in a wide variety of physical activities. You will also learn the strategies needed to foster personal and social skills that are important to participation in, and enjoyment of, physical activity for a lifetime. Become a certified K-12 Health Enhancement teacher and teach the youth of today to be fit and active through physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. Learn to improve fitness and health through cooperative fitness games, team and individual sports, and lifetime activities while taking courses that blend classroom teaching and hands-on learning.
MSU’s Health Enhancement Program is dedicated to preparing professionals capable of delivering diverse programs that promote self-directed, responsible, physically active lifestyles as well as the health and wellness in school aged children and youth in rural settings across the state and region. Students graduating from our program are educated to the highest standards through both classroom and real-life settings. The Health Enhancement Program is devoted to excellence in learning, leadership, and stewardship.
