3rd Annual Classic Open Benefit for the College of Business Golf Tournamant
The MSU-Bozeman College of Business will host the 3rd annual Classic Open Benefit for the College of Business golf tournament, Friday, September 17 at Valley View Golf Club in Bozeman. The 4-member, scramble format tournament is open to all players and will begin with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.
You can register in teams of four members or as an individual. The tournament is $100 per golfer. This fee will include lunch, tee prizes, a BBQ dinner/auction, great team prizes and several individual prizes.
There will be some major prizes golfers will compete for, but nothing compares to the prestige of having your name etched on the crystal traveling trophy! The team with the best gross score, will be the next to have their name etched in the traveling trophy and have the honors of displaying the trophy at their place of business throughout the year.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to provide funding for College of Business student enhancement, programs as well as support scholarships. In April, the first "Friends of the Classic Open Benefit Golf Tournament" scholarship was award to a COB student.
Many prizes and auction items are being donated and several businesses are sponsoring tee boxes, carts, auction items and prizes. There are still options open for sponsorships.
"The tournament was very successful last year and we are excited about the positive feedback we have received," said tournament director, Jackie Sather. "The success was due largely to the generosity of our sponsors, prize donations and the enthusiasm and spirit of the golfers. We do have a lot of fun at this event!"
