The College of Business will select four or five outstanding students to participate in the study abroad adventure of a lifetime.

Dave Foster and Craig Ehlert of the Management Faculty will accompany the selected students as they travel to Vilnius, Lithuania on Sunday, May 7, 2006 and return on May 21st. Participants will have the opportunity for additional travel in Europe following the formal program, if they so choose.

In Lithuania the Montana students will participate in a two-week seminar in strategic management together with Lithuanian MBA program students at the International Business School of Vilnius University. The Vilnius University MBA program is taught in the evenings, giving the project group daytime opportunity to visit local companies, participate in activities with management consulting organizations and visit cultural and historic sites in the country.

In addition to the close classroom interaction with the Lithuanian students, the project will give the Montana group the opportunity to examine business practices in a former communist country that has worked hard to gain admission to the European Union (EU).

To be eligible for consideration students need to be admitted to the College of Business (or eligible for admission by May 2006) or be an upper division student in the International Business Minor. May 2006 graduates are eligible for consideration. Participants will receive a scholarship grant of up to $1000, to cover air transportation and will be only responsible for meals lodging and personal expenses in Europe.
