Bracken Center Grand Re-Opening Set for September 1
The MSU Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship will have a grand re-opening celebration for its Gary K. Bracken Center for Excellence in Undergraduate Business Education on September 1st, 2015 in Jabs Hall.
The Bracken Center was created through a $3 million donation in 2002 from the family and friends of Gary K. Bracken ’61. It facilitates student excellence through a high-quality learning environment and accomplishes its mission through a focus on excellent academic preparation, the development of professional skills and nurturing personal growth. Programs and resources include the Bracken Business Communications Clinic (BBCC), student career and internship opportunities, student club support, and fellowships.
A number of information booths representing these programs and resources will be at the grand re-opening. Study Abroad representatives from the Office of International Programs will also be present.
The College will host this event in conjunction with a welcome BBQ for new business freshmen. Continuing business students who wish to attend the BBQ need to RSVP to Chantelle Mahan, 406-994-4438 or [email protected] by this Friday, August 28. The cost is $10 and attendees can pay with cash or check.
The Welcome BBQ for new business freshmen will be covered by the student’s Residence Life meal plan. Freshmen will need to bring their Cat Card.
