College to partner with Human Scale Business to host first Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Program in Bozeman
In partnership with Etsy, Human Scale Business and the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Montana State University are offering a new innovative program that will provide micro-business training to adults with existing creative skills to help supplement their income and sell their products to new markets.
The Craft Entrepreneurship Program (CEP) will kick off on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 pm in Jabs Hall. Participants will be enrolled in a training program that will guide them through the basics of starting and running an online business through Etsy, including pricing, basic accounting, product photography, and marketing.
CEP classes are taught by successful Etsy craft sellers who support participants through every aspect of setting up their online shops. Through the learning lab of helping participants create their own stores and product listings, teachers share best practices on topics that impact new sellers most.
Etsy teams with local sponsors to offer the Craft Entrepreneurship Program in communities throughout the U.S. If you are interested in learning more about sponsoring a program in your Montana community, please feel free to contact Dave Bayless at [email protected].
