Ceremony Information

Tickets are not required for guest admission to the Commencement ceremony.

We do ask that degree candidates RSVP for the ceremony (see below) to ensure we plan for adequate seating on the main floor.

As a reminder, to speed the entry process through the event’s metal detectors, we request -- but don’t require -- graduates and guests leave their bags and purses in their vehicles. Please leave cell phones and keys in your pockets when going through the metal detectors.

Candidate must be checked in for Lineup by 9:10am

Processional begins at 9:40am 

Ceremony begins at 10:00am

  • Doctoral Graduates- Taping room in the South Tunnel
  • Faculty - North Tunnel

Please note: The deadline for Fall Undegraduates graduation applications was March 1st. Late applications are not guaranteed to appear in the commencement program. If you have applied after the deadline and do not see your name and would like your name included in the commencement program, please email [email protected]

Capture the moment

Five-Step Graduation Process

  1. Perform an Evaluation in DegreeWorks.
  2. Turn in an Online Application via MyInfo for graduation. 
  3. Participate in Priority Registration for the upcoming semester.
  4. Attend your Commencement ceremony (optional).
  5. Receive your Diploma to the mailing address you provide in MyInfo.

Friday, May 9th, 2025 

Morning Processional: 9:40am Ceremony: 10:00am    

Afternoon Processional: 2:10pm Ceremony: 2:30pm


Know Before You Go To Commencement

Location: Brick Breeden Fieldhouse

Doors will open to the public at TBA

 

Parking on campus is Free on the day of Commencement.  Bobcat Lot 15 (Fieldhouse), the Garage (Lot 10), Bobcat Lot 11, and the Stadium Lots (20 & 25) are all great options for parking in vicinity of the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony there will be loud nosies with music and  a ballon drop happening. 

No outside food or drinks will be allowed inside the venue. Concessions will be open during the ceremony.
