  • You have one or more living children from a previous marriage only.
  • You have adopted all children from your spouse's previous marriage.

Distribution: Your surviving spouse receives $150,000 plus 1/2 of the remaining balance. Your children are those from your previous marriage and the ones you have adopted. They split the remaining 1/2.
