  • You do not have any living children or grandchildren.
  • One or both of your parents are alive...

 

Distribution: Your spouse receives the first $300,000 in value of your assets and 3/4 of the remaining balance. Your parents split the remaining 1/4.  

If the assets are valued at less than $300,000, your surviving spouse receives all.
