Current Research
In the early 1900's, Yellowstone National Park was believed to be home to the last population of trumpeter swans in the continental United States. Although this population helped to facilitate the restoration of trumpeter swans across North America, it has been declining since the 1960's. My research will focus on the factors that influence trumpeter swan population dynamics in order to help inform management decisions in Yellowstone National Park.
