• As a researcher, it is not uncommon to be able to feel and perceive the challenge of accommodating energy development in host communities and how your work contributes to demand on community leaders and citizens.

• A relatively small number of people in the country host some of the most substantial forms of energy infrastructure. There is a discrepancy between the size, weight, and importance of the energy infrastructure that rural communities provide to the world as compared to the size of their own infrastructure.
