Project Description Rabbit Showmanship

You will gain knowledge and skills in managing and caring for rabbits, selecting quality rabbits, feeding balanced rations and maintaining management records on which to base decisions regarding feed, production and breeding. You will also have opportunities to participate and assume responsibility in the 4-H rabbit program.

*** Please note, if you do not attend at least one workshop in your project area during the 4-H year, you will be required to complete activities in your project book and turn it in with your record book. The number of activities required to complete a 4-H year in each project book can be found here.

  • Rabbits are not required until June
  • Rabbits will start coming to meetings in May
  • We send out emails and have a Lewis & Clark County Rabbit 4-H Facebook page. We post about shows, rabbits for sale and anything rabbit related
