WHAT: The 2025 PAT Core training focuses on training new pesticide educators on the core concepts of private applicator pesticide use while delivering tools to train private pesticide applicators within your organization. Training tools covered include presentations, story problems, demonstration kits, publications, videos, and other materials.

WHO: New MSU Extension agents with PAT responsibilities are highly encouraged to attend this training. Weed District representatives, MSU Extension Specialists, MDA staff or veteran MSU Extension Agents are also welcome to attend.

  • Date: April 15-16, 2025
  • Location: Calvert Hotel, 216 7th Ave S, Lewistown, MT 59457
  • Registration: Register online by March 14. A minimum attendee count must be met by this date to host the event.
  • Fee: $150. Pay using:
    • PAT Funds (MSU Extension only),
    • Credit Cards - online in advance, or
    • Cash or check at the door.
  • Hotel Room Reservation: If you are a speaker or with MSU Extension and would like to pay with PAT Funds your room reservation will be made for you. Please mark relevant options on the registration form. If you need to pay for your own room or are not with MSU Extension please contact the Calvert Hotel to make your own room reservation (406-535-5411).

Using PAT Funds

If you are a MSU Extension agent you may use PAT Funds to pay for your registration fee and hotel room. When you register for the event please select 'PAT Funds' under registration fee and hotel payment. MSU PEP will pay for your hotel room and will take care of transferring payments out of PAT Fund accounts after the event.
