994-Calling! Series with Marcus “Doc” Cravens

The Office of Research, Economic Development and Graduate Education has an exciting slate of MSU researchers lined up for 2020-21. During these sessions, speakers are asked to "tell their story" -- which usually includes some fun background, where they trained, how they came to MSU, and a few key highlights on their research and scholarship. This series will be hosted virtually once a month, and our next 994-Calling will present Marcus "Doc" Cravens, Director of the MSU Veteran History & Arts Initiative.

2021 L’Oréal USA For Women in Science program

DEADLINE: Jan 29, 2021

The L’ORÉAL USA FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE Fellowship program annually awards five female postdoctoral scientists with grants of $60,000 each for their contributions in STEM fields and their commitment to serving as role models for younger generations. Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. and started in their postdoctoral research position by the application deadline. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply. Visit the For Women In Science website to find out more.

Rural Health Clinic Technical Assistance Program
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - Health Resources and Services Administration

DEADLINE: Dec 21

The Rural Health Clinic Technical Assistance Program provides technical assistance (TA) including tools, resources, and strategies that are easily accessible to geographically dispersed RHCs and could be used to inform rural health care providers and other federal, state, and local stakeholders. The TA may also include topics related to public health priorities such as ending the opioid epidemic and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
