Textiles
There are several sewing machines available for use in the Makerspace, as well as an iron, ironing board, and selection of fabrics, thread, and hardware. The industrial sewing machine and a lot of the fabric was donated by Mystery Ranch, and other materials have been donated by Sitka.
Machines:
- Singer Classic 44S, a user friendly sewing machine, able to do multiple stitch patterns through light materials.
- Bernina 1001 , a user friendly sewing machine, able to do multiple stitch patterns
through light materials
- Bernina 1001 Manual (Low res, paper copy in Makerspace)
- Brother LT2-B872-5, an industrial sewing machine, excellent for use with heavier materials. Training from a Makerspace is required before this machine can be used.
