The Corpsman Assault System (CAS) is a suite of load bearing equipment that is designed
specifically for the needs of the Navy Corpsman that deploys with Marine Rifle Squads
or Weapons Companies. Custom load bearing equipment for Corpsmen allows them to more
efficiently and effectively operate. This system is issued to Corpsmen in addition
to the new USMC pack system to provide additional mission based flexibility for users.

USN Corpsmen will have a new pack system that is suitable for their unique mission
requirements. Corpsmen will be issued both the CAS and USMC Pack System. This will
provide Corpsmen greater flexibility to gear up as required for the specific mission
than. PM ICE will own the TDP, saving significant funds and allowing for sustainable
supply of the system. |

Marine Corps Systems Command and PM Infantry Clothing and Equipment (PM ICE) personnel
requested that MilTech participate in the development of the Corpsman Assault System
(CAS). MilTech worked directly with Navy Corpsman and multiple industry partners to
implement their innovations into the system. |
