About

Richard Turner has more than 20 years of leadership experience ranging from combat operations while serving as an officer in the United States Marine Corps to working as a consultant for Fortune 100 companies to launching his own startups.  After gaining extensive experience in complex strategic planning, logistics, and operations in the military, Rich served as an Operations Manager and Process Improvement Consultant for Amazon, where he managed the launch of an Amazon Fresh facility and led performance improvement and efficiency projects at an Amazon Fulfillment Center.  More recently, as a manufacturing consultant, he has guided dozens of clients toward their goals by identifying process inefficiencies, developing comprehensive strategies, reducing complexity and costs, and achieving scalable growth.

Rich is committed to helping build a strong and vibrant manufacturing ecosystem that helps people grow and companies succeed.  He is also deeply involved in complementary efforts to support local communities, such as his work as founder of the Bulwark Coffee Company and Bulwark Foundation, which fund charitable initiatives for law enforcement, fire, military, and disaster relief at the local level.
