Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science
Pursuing a degree in political science helps students understand how politics operate in different settings and forms. The curriculum includes learning about campaigns and elections, political parties, and institutions like the Presidency, Congress, and the courts, but it is also much broader. Political science classes cover topics like leadership and decision-making, conflict and cooperation, public and organizational policymaking and much more. Because politics happens in many places and in many ways, studying political science prepares students to be effective in a wide range of settings, from government to the community to the workplace.
