Dear MSU Community,

We have had the privilege to witness an unprecedented football season at Montana State University. Our Bobcats won more games in a single season than any other team in MSU history, and they earned their second trip to the FCS national championship game in the course of three years. And even as we offer our congratulations to North Dakota State for their victory, we remain so incredibly proud of our student-athletes, coaches and staff for all they have accomplished.

This team has embodied the blue and gold spirit. Their intensity, focus and dedication are emblematic of how we at Montana State approach everything we do as we strive to serve our communities, state and the nation. 

I also want to draw special attention to the Spirit of the West marching band and the Cheer Squad, who were right there with our team in Frisco, rallying our fans and filling our hearts with Bobcat spirit. 

To the amazing number of Bobcat fans and supporters--those who joined us enthusiastically in the stands in Texas, those who watched from homes and at parties across the nation, and those unwavering friends who've been with us year in and year out -- thank you! Your support of our university and our student-athletes is nothing short of amazing. Next season cannot come soon enough!
