My Colorado Fourteener List
There are 54 mountains in Colorado with summits reaching more than 14,000 feet above sea level, collectively known as the "fourteeners," or 14ers for short. Some Colorado 14er lists have more or fewer peaks depending upon the precise definition of what qualifies a summit as a separate peak or just a subordinate peak near a greater summit (elevation difference of connecting ridge, peak spacing, etc.). The traditional list of 54 seems to be the most common way to count them.
Just for fun, here is the list of the 54 Colorado 14ers listed according to my climbing order. I completed climbing all 54 in 2011.
