HELLO, Montana teachers!

Teachers holding Arduino kitWelcome to Sensing for Science, a program that connects Montana teachers with the scientists and engineers who use sensors in their daily work. This is a program of Montana NSF EPSCoR, run through the Science Math Resource Center. Our instructor is Kayce Williams.

Read on to learn more about how you can join the program and get free training and an Arduino starter kit for yourself!

Professional development in Arduino coding

  • Access our free training resources - We have six levels of Sensing for Science, including video instruction and a downloadable guide. The resources tie to water quality research taking place in Montana.
  • Apply to get a personal Arduino kit for you to use during your training (teachers only, please)

We appreciate your feedback!

  • Once you have used the kit, we would love to know how this can impact your classroom. Send Kayce photos of you completing projects and using the sensors in your classroom.
  • We are hoping to more Sensing for Science Educator Kits in the future, so this will put you at the top of the list.
