Temporary Lab Supply Storage: MBB
Description of Request
Submitted By: Kirk Lubick, Director of Research Integrity & Compliance
Nelson Laboratories is vacating their Bozeman location and has generously offered to donate a substantial volume of laboratory equipment and consumable supplies to Montana State University. These items will support various departments across campus, with immediate use anticipated by occupants of the Molecular Biosciences Building (MBB) and the adjacent Health Sciences Building (HSB). While most equipment will be directly utilized in labs, some items will need temporary storage to accommodate future hires and newly established labs. It is expected to take up to a year for all materials to be utilized or reduced to small enough volumes to allow them to be distributed to individual labs. Staff has identified MBB 236 as an ideal storage location. This vacant space, which is not designated for lab use, provides a centrally accessible area without compromising valuable lab space.
