We are excited to offer three options for discounted participant lodging in Bozeman during the week of the workshop. There are three blocks of lodging reserved from Monday (May 23) to Friday (Mary 27). Please note the cutoff date of each option, as any unbooked rooms will be released at that time. The most expensive option is the Lewis & Clark Motel at $216.92 per night for a double queen-bed room. The other hotel option is the Best Western Plus Grantree Hotel at $133.92 per night with multiple room configurations available. The last option is to rent a dorm room on campus for $50 per night.  There are other hotels you might choose to stay at in downtown Bozeman where we do NOT have blocks of rooms reserved (including The Lark, The Element ,The Armory, or the Residence Inn by Marriott) that are all very close to the workshop venue but tend to be more expensive (in the range of $300-500/night).

Lewis & Clark Motel (Book before April 22nd)

  • The discount rate(s) quoted are per night:
    • $199.00+ tax (17.92).   
  • The cutoff for booking one of these workshop-blocked rooms is: April 22, 2022 (after which any unbooked rooms will be released).  Early booking is encouraged!
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Any reservations made under group block booking will be subject to the following cancellation policy. For full refund/ no fees: 14 days in advance of arrival date. Any cancellation or changes made after the 14-day period will result in full charges of entire reservation being collected as cancellation penalty. The typical hotel cancellation policy of 24 in advance will not apply to wedding block reservations.
  • Rates quoted are starting rates based on room type and up to 2 additional people. Additional people or dogs, may result in an extra fee.
  • If room type is outside of the what was offered in the block, there may be an additional fee.
  • If you are attempting to book past the cutoff date or if there are no more rooms left inthe block, please  call them direct and they will try to accommodate you.

The Best Western Plus Grantree Hotel (Book before April 26th, 2022)

  • Room rates are $124.00 + tax ($9.92).
  • The cutoff date of these blocked rooms is April 26, 2022.

Campus Housing Option 

We also have single-occupancy dorm rooms available on the MSU campus. 

  • Basic rooms are $50/night.  They come furnished with a desk and bed. There is shared bathroom access  floor-wide.
  • Suites are$65/night.  They are slightly larger rooms that come furnished with a desk and bed, as well as a bathroom that is shared with one other suite. 
  • Small refrigerators can be added to your room for $20.
  • There is a free-bus that runs regularly between campus and downtown Bozeman. 
  • A full breakfast can also be added for an additional fee.
