As the students, faculty, staff and alumni of Montana State University, your input is invaluable. The Strategic Planning Committee welcomes diverse perspectives and will use your feedback to chart the course for Montana's future. 

Please review the most recent draft strategic plan.

The plan charts a strategic course for the University as a whole.  There are many important operational efforts on campus that will continue even if they are not in the plan.  The plan calls out things we need to do differently, better or at scale in order to move in the intended direction.  

Therefore, the plan will not reflect the current work of every unit or individual on campus.  That does not mean that work is unimportant.  

As you read the plan draft, please consider how your work individually and in your unit can contribute to the University’s strategic success.  You may be called to keep doing what you are doing, or you may have the opportunity to shift your focus to support the University’s strategic direction.
