Cleaning Services - Reduced Services Plan

Custodial Services are provided daily in all:

  • Restrooms
  • Conference Rooms
  • Break/Kitchen Areas
  • Common Areas
  • Hallways
  • Collision Areas
  • Breakout Spaces
  • Building Entrances
  • Copy Rooms

Custodial Services are provided every 3rd day to all:

  • Classrooms
  • Instructional Labs*
  • Studio Spaces*

*Dependent on space type and entry requirements. 

Offices and Office Suites will be responsible for basic cleaning duties and utilize centralized waste collection procedures. Special cleaning requests can be made on the Custodial Services webpage under "Service Requests".

Clean Initiative Programs

Clean Kits have been distributed to department suites for use by any office constituent at their leisure. Those kits include the following: 

  • QC3 Cleaning & Disinfectant Spray Bottle*
  • Reusable Microfiber Rags*
  • Hand Sanitizer Bottle (Limited Supply)
  • Vacuum Cleaner Update: Units distributed out already to be replaced with more user friendly unit. 

*These items can be replenished by filling out the Special Request Form on the Custodial Services webpage. 

Centralized Waste Collection

A Centralized Waste Collection program has been implemented across campus.  Collection stations are sited on nearly every floor of academic buildings typically near access/egress areas. Self-service waste and recycling receptacles have been distributed to individual offices.

Collection Station Service:

  • Trash serviced daily
  • Recycling is serviced a minimum of once a week but can vary by deposited volume

Service Request Program

A Custodial Service Request Program has been implemented for any campus affilaite (faculty, staff or student) can use to submit requests for a number of things. This program only supports Academic Buildings on the MSU Bozeman Campus. 

  • Cleanliness Issues / Observations
  • Floor Care Requests
  • Special Requests
  • Lighting Issues

*Please note that maintenance requests should still be submitted through the Work Request Portal.
