RCI aims to offer a range of support for the technology components of research grant proposals. Beginning in the planning stage of a grant, RCI can assess the storage, compute, and networking needs for a project, recommend solutions, and assist with budgeting appropriately. When a proposal is funded, RCI serves as an initial point of contact for implementing the technology plan, handling some components internally and working with appropriate UIT groups for others.
