BSYC utilizes the free ClassDojo app to communicate a variety of things to parents throughout your camper’s day. Once you’ve downloaded the app and followed instructions to set up an account, the app works on all devices including smart phones, tablets and desktop computers.

How ClassDojo helps us connect with parents:

  • Counselors can safely and instantly message any parent. 
  • Counselors can bring parents to the camp day experience by sharing photos, videos, and announcements. 
  • ClassDojo also helps counselors better communicate behavior patterns of campers with their parents throughout the day.

Finally, in the event of an emergency, ClassDojo will be utilized to inform all families of the location and status of an age group immediately. Families are encouraged to register for an account in order to receive alerts faster. We do not always have access to our registration system or a desktop computer to send out a mass email during an emergency.


Outside of camp hours, staff are not expected to reply to families via ClassDojo and all communications should be directed to  [email protected].
