Kaitlyn DiMarco
Education
PhD, University of Oregon, Human Physiology, 2023
BA, Colorado College, Molecular Biology and Human Biology & Kinesiology, 2017
Research Interests
Kaitlyn is primarily interested in studying cardiopulmonary responses to extreme environmental stressors like high altitude, SCUBA diving, and hot and cold environments. She also enjoys exploring systems interactions, particularly how immune and cardiopulmonary interactions shape our acute responses and chronic adaptations to environmental stimuli, as well as sex-based differences in red blood cell and pulmonary vascular tone regulation.
