Xylotrechus longitarsus
Xylotrechus longitarsus is a species of long-horned beetle. This beetle can be mistaken for a cricket or grasshopper (orthopteran) because of the shape and structure of its hind legs. However, the elytra (wing covers) protecting its abdomen is the indicating feature this is in fact a beetle.
