Trichodes ornatus
Trichodes ornatus is also known as the ornate checkered beetle. The adult feeds on plants and is 5- to 15-mm long. The larva lives in leafcutting bee nests where it is parasitic. This species is part of the subfamily Clerinae, which is only found in North America.
