Merhynchites bicolor

Merhynchites bicolor is also known as the rose curculio. This is one of five known subspecies of leaf rolling weevil within the family Attelabidae.  Both the adult and larva feed on rose flowers. Adults puncture feeding holes within the flower buds while the larvae feed on the reproductive part of the flower.
