Pentatomid sp.
This is an adult stink bug in the family Pentatomidae. There are more than 4,700 known species of stink bugs that inhabit a variety of niches. Several species are considered agricultural pests and many others are considered beneficial by preying on other pest species. These insects all have the ability to release a liquid that is well known for its unpleasant odor, earning them the common name of stink bugs.
