Lycomorpha pholus
Lycomorpha pholus is a colorful tiger moth and can be found on flowers only during the day throughout the summer. The forewing is 12- to 15-mm long. Caterpillars of this species feed on lichens, slow growing plants along the sides of trees and rocks, and can take several years to develop. This species can be found from June until September and can also have yellow instead of orange on their wings depending on the location.
