Madi Herman
Prevention Education Specialist
As the training development coordinator, Madi offers a diverse array of discrimination, harassment, and violence prevention education for all of campus and trains CCR student volunteers to become advocates and peer educators.
After graduating from Purdue University, Madi ventured out west. She spent 6 years in Flagstaff, AZ exploring the beautiful, varied landscapes that the American Southwest has to offer. While there, she worked in community behavioral health honing her skills for trauma informed care, crisis response, and behavioral health intervention. She brings this experience into violence prevention work at MSU every day.
When she’s not working, she loves to explore the great outdoors and try new things! More likely than not though, you can find her at a bookstore or with her nose in a book anywhere around town. She starts celebrating Halloween in August and is working on building her Halloween shirt collection so she can wear a unique one for every day in October. She loves Indian food, cats, the color teal, and running.
