Scientific Engagement

The development of the Center for the Communication of Science (CCS) spanning departments will benefit Montana State University not only through its highly interdisciplinary nature, but also through its amplified access to grants contracts and private donations. As a portal for scientific engagement and discovery at Montana State University, CCS will catalyze the link between the arts and sciences.

Art

Visual and creative faculty members from Montana State University's School of Arts and Architecture are participating in the Center's activities to explore and discover new ways of how to communicate science. As professional artists and media makers, they are available to bring the communication component to fruition in order to promote and engage scientific knowledge and research to the public.

Science

At least 23 science, technology, engineering and medical departments, programs and research groups at Montana State University expressed interest to work with the Center for the Communication of Science.
