Graduate Student Travel Award Opportunity

Travel awards for attendance to the 2023 BIC & NAPIA (Bean Improvement Cooperative and the North American Pulse Improvement Association (NAPIA), November 5-9 in Greenville, South Carolina are available from Montana State University.

Award application requirements:

1. The graduate student must be doing research on a pulse-related project.  

2. The graduate student must submit an abstract, register and attend the 2023 BIC&NAPIA meeting.

3.  A short letter is required from the student listing: Name; what year and name of degree sought, and expected year of graduation; Their University/Institution; Title of abstract submission; brief description of your project (500 word limit); and how attendance of the meeting will benefit you and/or your institution. One page limit.

4.  Email material to Monica Brelsford with ‘Student Travel Award’ in the subject line.

5.  A short letter of support/approval from your PI for travel to 2023 BIC&NAPIA must also be emailed to Monica Brelsford with ‘Student Travel Award’ in the subject line.

Deadline for submissions is October 5th with award notifications at the 2023 BIC&NAPIA meeting.
