The Inaugural 2023 MSU Hilleman Scholars Summer Fete – What a Beginning!
Thanks to a supportive Host Committee, the Markarechian Family, and the many generous guests and patrons in attendance, the MSU Hilleman Scholars Program raised nearly $500,000 to support students from all parts of Montana during our first summer fete!
Because of this unprecedented generosity, 15 more students will receive a 4-year scholarship to MSU beginning in the fall of 2024! REMARKABLE! Funds generated also ensure we can offer supportive mental health care and transition-from-college-to-career assistance to our current class of scholars.
The Hilleman Scholars Program is dedicated to supporting youth from across Montana who recognize they have tremendous potential. As the state’s largest public land grant institution, we understand, not unlike our namesake, Dr. Maurice Hilleman, that our future rests in those who choose to imagine and shape it – regardless of zip code, hometown, or ability to pay for college.
We are committed to the prospect that we can and should help more Montana residents create a better future for themselves, families, and communities. We consider our investors to be an integral part of the MSU Hilleman Scholar Program and cannot wait to see you all again at this year’s event!
