The 2nd Annual MSU Hilleman Scholars Summer Fete - a Night to Remember!

The 2024 Hilleman Scholars Fete was a resounding success, generating over $500,000 in support of student scholarships to Montana State University. The overwhelming generosity of the attendees and supporters has enabled the organization to fund an additional 15 scholarships, providing life-changing opportunities for Montana students.

The event started with cocktail hour which included a silent auction, full of items donated by local business across Montana. As the evening progressed, the guests were called to dinner, with Governor Greg Gianforte giving opening remarks for the rest of the evening. Dinner was provided by Mountain Fresh Catering, spotlighting cuisine from across Montana, celebrating all the towns and cities Hilleman Scholars come to MSU from. The group then transitioned to the program, including a live auction and a cash call. The MSU Hilleman Scholars Program was honored to receive live auction donations such as an exclusive retreat in Puerto Vallarta donated by the Makarechian Family, limited edition Jim Dolan Bleu table-top sized Bleu Horses, and all-inclusive ski excursions to the Yellowstone Club (curtesy of Loren and Jill Bough) and Big Sky (curtesy of John Keil). The night ended with a celebration, including an after party with live music and refreshments.

We are so grateful for the events host committee, silent and live auction item donors, and the over 250 guests who attended. The 2024 MSU Hilleman Scholars Summer Fete not only exceeded financial goals but also reinforced the community’s commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders. This achievement marks a significant step forward in our mission to make higher education accessible to all.
