Dr. Vic Cundy

Dr. Cundy has been with Montana State University since 1995.  He served as Department Head first for the Mechanical Engineering Program and later as the Department Head for the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Program when the Industrial Engineering Program was merged into the Mechanical Engineering Program.  Together with Co-PI Kevin Amende, the Aaon R&D program was initiated around 2000.  The program has evolved since that time.  Cundy has experience in HVAC, Heat Transfer, Combustion, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermodynamics.  Cundy is a licensed PE in the state of Montana.

Adam Weisenstein

Adam Weisenstein is beginning work on a Phd in mechanical engineering.  He completed his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in the fall of 2005 from Montana State University.  He started in the lab in the fall of 2006 and has been assistant teaching for the HVAC and thermal processes labs, and conducting research ever since.  Weisenstein is a licensed EIT in the state of Montana.

Ben Lipscomb

Ben Lipscomb

Ben Lipscomb is a senior in Mechanical Engineering Technology.  He began working in the HVAC lab during high school over five years ago as part of the Montana Apprenticeship Program.  Lipscomb is also the president of the ASHRAE MSU Student Chapter, and a recipient of the distinguishedPresidential Scholarship.
