Effects of climate warming on stream ecosystem structure and function
Response of nutrient dynamics in mountain streams to accelerated human development
Linking whole ecosystems carbon cycling with quantitative food webs in the Grand Canyon
Analysis of the Yellowstone and Missouri River food webs to support recovery of Pallid
Sturgeon
In general, we are interested in questions that bridge population, foodweb and ecosystem
ecology to understand and predict ecological responses to global change. We use bioenergetic
and stoichiometric frameworks to link species to ecosystems, and to examine effects
of altered hydrology, carbon, and nutrient cycles on freshwater ecosystem structure
and function.
