Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society that honors academic excellence during a student's first year in college. The purpose of the society is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year in institutions of higher education. We promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, balanced with a healthy dose of purposeful fun and community involvement. We  assist women and men by helping them recognize and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society.

What's in a name? While we are geek and Greek, we're not just a bunch of insulated nerds living in a nerd bubble. We encourage open communication with our members that strengthen communal bonds and improve the lives of others through collaboration. Do you have the master plan to raise money for the local food bank? Or an ingenious scavenger hunt to benefit our public lands? We want to know what your brain is cooking and help you turn it into reality!

We believe the collective purpose of our fancy book learning and smarts is to make the world a little better than how we found it, to openly explore and examine diverse ideas through intelligent debate, and come up with creative solutions to the problems that impact our world and our neighborhoods.
