Students with disabilities have the right to equal access to all college programs, services, and classes at MSU. ODS works with you to develop accommodations specific to your individual needs. We will connect you with other campus resources to develop your academic skills to help you be more successful.

Students seeking accommodations must take the following steps:

Step 1. Login to Accommodate

Complete the Student Intake (you will need your NetId and password).

  1. On the left-hand side click Accommodation & Information Requests, then
  2. Click Accommodation Requests

Step 2. Read Documentation Guidelines

Step 3. Provide Documentation

Documentation needs to be uploaded directly to Accommodate.

Documents need to be either in PDF format or DOCX format.

The accommodations process is interactive and requires documentation of the disabling condition and functional limitations that result. Under the 2008 ADA Amendment Act, key questions that should be addressed in documentation include:

  • Is there clear evidence of a disability?
  • What is the impact of the disability?
  • Does it substantially limit a major life activity?
  • Is there history of receiving services?

If you are having accessibility issues with this form, need help filling it out or if you would prefer a paper copy please contact the Office of Disability Services for assistance. 406-994-2824

When will I receive my accommodations?

Once you have completed steps 1 though 3 above, one of our Accommodation Specialists will generally review your documentation within 5 business days. The Accommodation specialist will then email you letting you know that either:
