Update Your Start Term

Thank you for your continued interest in MSU or Gallatin College! If you have previously applied to MSU and would like to change your start term, you may not need to apply again or pay the application fee again.

Eligibility:

If your new start term is within one year of the start term on your original application, you are eligible to use the Update Term Form. If you wish to start more than one year from your previous term, you will need to reapply.

Scholarships:

Any scholarships or other aid awarded to you for a previous term will not transfer to your new start term. However, you will be reconsidered according to the parameters set for your new start term for applicable new undergraduate scholarships.  Please note that any required scholarship application will need to be resubmitted.

Freshman vs. Transfer Student:

Please note that any student who attempts 12 or more college-level credits after graduating from high school will be considered a transfer student, will not be eligible for freshman scholarships, and may require additional documentation for admission.
