Extension Online Tools

the way you work has changed significantly in the past few days, and we want to help make this transition a little easier, by providing a place for you to go to find tools and resources for remote work, online program delivery and collaboration. MSU Extension created a task force to help gather these resources and offer their experience as they already use these tools in their Extension programming. The Webinars will be linked here as they occur

Keeping 4-H Connected

This is the page we have created to list all 4-H specific resources for members and volunteers

LinkedIn Learning

A resource for faculty and staff education and resource information. Almost any subject can be found on this site – videos, practices files, etc. Participants can choose their level of education from watching a single 2-minute video about a specific topic to earning certificates for completing entire programs.

Social Media

These are MSU’s social media guidelines. They provide tips for protecting privacy, respecting the audience, how to handle/avoid controversial issues, writing posts, etc.

These are the guidelines for best practices in social media for the Montana 4-H program,  but many of them are applicable to all of Extension.
